Celebrate the Fourth of July Weekend with The Sound Cellar as we turn over the station to The Buzzard for a long weekend of Classic Rock.

Ron's picks will feature many of Ron's favorite cuts from WNAP's classic era.

Ron's Picks Returns

Since I recently escaped those crazed disco fans, I thought that I should celebrate with a two hour show that rocks out. Have a great weekend.

Ron Escapes!

Ron escaped from the band of rogue disco fans on Saturday night. The Intrepid Weather Babe delivered the ransom, a near mint copy of a Saturday Night Fever vinyl LP and a disco ball complete with motor. What the Disco fans didn't know is that the Intrepid Weather Babe hid a copy of The Rolling Stones single Street Fighting Man in the sleeve. Ron was forced to play DJ for these crazed disco fans late into Saturday night. Suddenly Ron played the Stones' single and as the disco fans put their hands to their ears, grimaced in pain and writhed on the floor, Ron made his way out of the warehouse where he was being held hostage. Authorities were called and all of the disco fans that held Ron hostage were apprehended and are being held on various charges - the biggest charge being "having very poor taste in pop music." Ron's Picks will return next week.

Ron's Picks 6-5-2009

This week Ron's Picks will be a replay of last week's show.

Ron has been kidnapped and is being held captive by a rogue band of Disco lovers in an undisclosed location. According to eye witnesses, the leader of the band reportedly looks a lot like John Travolta and was wearing a white polyester leisure suit.

The Wrath of the Buzzard Returns!

At 5:00 PM EDT on Friday, May 22, 2009 The Buzzard takes over The Sound Cellar over the long Memorial Day Weekend.

FM 93 WNAP Indianapolis, the Buzzard, ruled the airwaves from the late 1960's through the 1970's. This weekend we pay homage to those great years at the Buzzard when FM radio was king. Enjoy the show.

Over Easy, Sunday Rock, Etc.

The Sound Cellar now features over 2,100 cuts in our music library.

Our "Over Easy" program's library has grown to 56 hours of free form music from a variety of sources. All of the old favorites are there mixed in with an eclectic selection of independent artists playing various genres. This program has really grown and is a great way to get your weekday started or is a nice soundtrack for Sunday morning cooking, coffee and newspaper reading.

If you just can't stand the thought of the weekend coming to an end, "Sunday Night Rock" might just be the ticket - nothing but hard driving rock and roll from 9 PM EDT until 5 AM Monday morning.
